My team and I are thrilled to announce that our film, "Lumbu," will be showing at this year's London Indian Film Festival. Now in its 15th year, the festival is set across four UK locations - London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Yorkshire, from June 26 to July 3, 2024. It celebrates the finest in new Indian and South Asian cinema, including web series, short films from emerging filmmakers, and continues to explore innovative realms like XR and computer games, building on the excitement of last year's offerings.
Lumbu is part of the New Brit Asian Shorts section that features a mix of film and documentaries from the next generation of British Asian writers and directors. The screenings will be shown at the following locations, followed by discussions from some of the filmmakers:
Institute of Contemporary Arts, London - Saturday 29th June | 21:00 click here for more information.
Midlands Art Centre, Birmingham - Tuesday 2nd July | 19:00 click here for more information.
