Endz of the World — Prints
In the Endz of the World series, each digital print unearths silenced stories. I built a closed-source database by tagging 19th- and 20th-century Industrial Revolution paintings alongside mid-20th-century factory worker images. This trained a custom machine learning model. The outputs — these prints — emerge as the model's raw interpretations, echoing history through AI's lens.
The photopolymer intaglio monoprints fuse Endz of the World's digital origins with tactile history. At Thameside Print Studio, I learned photopolymer etching — a process akin to photolithography, which patterns silicon chips. Each monoprint is unique.
