Sikhs of Smethwick (BBC4, 2016), which liquifies the visual history of my hometown community, emerged from my artist film Year Zero: Black Country.

My quest to present sourced footage inspired the multi-part series on BBC4 "A Very British History" about the travelling community, Blacks of Birmingham and Jews of Leeds, among others, which ran for two seasons and was exec produced by Emma Loach.

My most recent broadcast documentary, a feature titled Green Lions, was inspired by a trip to Cameroon in 2016. It premiered on BBC4 in November 2022.
